I think for that particular auction some of the bidders think it is a full size doll - I don't think the seller is being misleading as the picture clearly shows a doll which is just the same size as the DVD, but some bidders must be confused. I can only imagine their shock when they receive the set ....

That is nuts! I would definitely ask about the size of the doll if I wasn't sure or couldn't tell that the doll was the same size as the DVD before bidding on it! Good grief.

I think the listing is misleading, but the picture definetly isn't. Some buyers just don't think!

Edit to add: I think the seller knew exactly what they were doing! They have 7 listed with a starting bid of $25 each. Although they have the backup of saying they were honest in their listing because of the scale shown in the picture, my guess is they were relying on the confusion to bring in the bids.

What's up with this? This is from a listing for a Samantha movie with the locket:
"The Samantha gift set includes one Samantha DVD, and one lockett. Also included is one $10 coupon off a future purchase. I will include a copy of the original purchase receipt, as this will be required to redeem with American Girl Doll."
